Chicken of the Sea Mermaid Funny

When a product has been around for 100 years, you know people love it! I honestly don't think there has been a time in my life when I have not had a Chicken of the Sea product in my pantry.  I knew they have been around for a while, but I had no idea Chicken of the Sea has been doing 100 Years of Good. Yes, they have officially been around for 100 years, and celebrating by paying it forward and investing $1 million in individuals who do good in their communities!

I am very excited that Chicken of the Sea has asked Jenns Blah Blah Blog to be part of their "100 Year of Good" campaign. I could not be more thrilled, and just a heads up we have something special planned for you over the next week, but I wanted to share a few things with you before we kick off our fun event supporting Chicken of the Sea's "100 Years of Good" campaign.

For those of you who are not familiar with Chicken of the Sea, they are the leading provider of packaged, sustainable seafood, offering a robust product line, fabulous recipes, and more for all us seafood fans.  They are also paying it forward in a BIG way, because they want to empower those who are doing good to keep doing good with the "100 Year of Good" campaign.  Chicken of the Sea wants to thank Americans for making Chicken of the Sea a mealtime staple. You have shown them how much you loved them over the past 100 years, and they are paying it forward by launching their "100 Years of Good" campaign.

The "100 Years of Good" campaign is a year long celebration of special promotions, parties, commemorative packaging, and the Great American Gratitude Touch, a Chicken of the Sea Mermaid-hosted nationwide tour.

The Great American Gratitude Tour is dedicated to investing in those bringing good to their communities! Chicken of the Sea will split $1 million among 100 charitable individuals and organization in 2014 to help empower them to continue doing good! Nominations are accepted for the Great American Gratitude honorees who will receive $10,000! They will be selected by a peer-review nomination produces, by Chicken of the Sea employees and retailers, and through instant-win sweepstakes.   If you would like to nominate someone you can do so by clicking here.

Chicken of the Sea Great American Gratitude Tour

This is where it gets fun! I do not know about you, but I would love take a picture with the Chicken of the Sea Mermaid. The Great American Gratitude Tour is going to be a blast; it's times like these that I wish I didn't live in a small town. I would love to take a picture with the Chicken of the Sea Mermaid, and take part in all the other fun activities they have planned. Check it out:

The Chicken of the Sea Mermaid is hosting a six-month mission to reward the Great American Gratitude honorees in their hometowns. That's right; she is coming to see as many of you as she can. If any of you go, please send me a picture!   The Mermaid is already on the road, and planning on launching her campaign on March 6, 2014 in sunny San Diego. The tour will give seafood fans in 39 U.S. cities the chance to sample new seafood product, receive money-saving coupons, take your picture with the Chicken of the Sea Mermaid, and enter to win $10,000 instantly.

The Chicken of the Sea Mermaid will be launching the tour in Santa Monica, at the Santa Monica Pier, on March 8^th at 10am until 6pm.

Chicken of the Sea will be stopping a few other places in California:
